![]() Never...LOL!
Hawks all the way! I would even rather see the Pens win it all than Boston. Heck Detroit again would be fine as long as it means Boston looses. But mainly I just want to see the two young teams (Hawks/Pens) try to out score each other! Last edited by GreenSpottedPuffer; 05-14-2009 at 08:05 PM. |

You seriously think the Pens could crush the Hawks?!? The Hawks were not 6th in league (3rd in the west) for no reason. 2nd most goals in the west and 3rd least goals against. Very complete team. It isn't all about numbers but anyone who thinks this Hawks team is lucky or some kind of feel good story is very wrong. They are a legitimate contender and the only reason people did not take them seriously before the playoffs was their age--they have proven that wrong. They came out and took the Canucks game and threw it back in the Nucks face. It was no secret that the Canucks came into the series ready to bang and crash the Hawks. Did you see the hand shake after game 6? Said it all...the Hawks looked like a team that was ready for the first game of the playoffs and the Canucks looked like they had just gone through a war. Canucks had ALL the bumps, bruises, cuts yet the Hawks are the team that played a rough and tough first round against the Flames while the Canucks sat around in Yaletown. All I am saying is that this Hawks team is going to be very tough for anyone to beat. Everyone knew they could outscore most teams in the league but I don't think most knew how tough they were. They also can play any game you want--they have a great stanley cup winning coach. |

Only 6 teams had less goals against this season in the whole league. Your talking about a defensive team with one of the best top 4 D-men in the league. Ohlund, Bieksa, Mitchell, Salo...yeah they do kind of suck, huh? I am not saying they are better than what they did this playoffs. Last edited by GreenSpottedPuffer; 05-14-2009 at 08:54 PM. |

![]() ![]() Boston is out. At least Detroit is still in but I may be leaning towards Chicago now. Ya know, I have no problem with Carolina advancing but I think it shows how much of a joke the NHL rulers are. That guy that scored the winning goal should not have been playing. How a sucker punch and knocking another out flat like he did and not be suspended is unreal. However being the NHL, I understand. ![]() That ruling would be made by the same people that dont wish to allow a franchise thats flat broke and nobody cares to be moved by someone with a ton of backing. Again.... ![]() So.............. hoping for a Crosby/Chicago finally. That may be worth watching.
