I have no clue if it is a 4L ballast. lol. I bought it to run some tests for VHO's. Ran it for a week on my new tank till I rewired a few things and have taken it off now.
 It very well may be the 4L. but I am not certain. I bought it with a two lamp harness. That is all I will say for sure.  I looked at the case and all it has is the coralife casing sticker on it for a 4x40W NO.(Coralife makes the same cases that Lampsnow uses for thier VHO's.
