If it is a new tank and it is sort of brown dusting, you have diatoms which is normal.
If you are using RO/DI water and are doing frequent water changes, it will go away.

If it's not diatoms, and is infact detritus, then you need more flow in the tank via powerheads, not more flow in the sump.
