![]() I don't remember this but my mom tells me that the first time I went through chemo, my only concern was that I had lost my hair. I was 6. It's hard to believe that through all the pain of chemo and the possibility of death, the only thing that scared me going out in public with no hair. My cancer came back 3 times in the next 10 years after first diagnosed and each time my biggest fear was loosing my hair. Every remission I would grow my hair and hated ever getting hair cuts. 5 years of remission ended a few years back and once again chemo... But after the last time I decided to keep my head shaved so that my hair is not something cancer can take from me ever again. It's always nice to hear of people supporting cancer. Without you, people like me would not have lived past 6. Thank you. |

![]() Good for you Karazy. I will have to settle for giving to them here. Cant much shave off any hair at this stage. Not much left.
