![]() Wow, my skimmer shuts down foam production when I feed that stuff. Weird.

![]() Me neither on the Reefroids doing it, but, interestingly, I have two tanks (well, technically atm, I just shutdown my 20g) skimmed by needlewheels (one is a 20g skimmed by a css65, and other a 40g skimmed by a Bubble Magus), and they will randomly go berserkly overflow once in a while (to the point there's so much foam it pushes the cap clean off and you get the "foam waterfall" effect down into the sump). The first time it happened I thought it was because I had glued a frag down with a new epoxy I was trying, and so I chucked out the epoxy. Then it randomly happened solidly 6 or 7 times since then on the 20g, and it seems to happen about once every 2 weeks on my 40g. Weird. Oh and always after lights out. So I wonder if it's snailspawn or something else like that..

![]() Try feeding some frozen food to the fish at the same time. The frozen food should counteract it.
