Just throwing this out there, but you could do some kind of "floating" canopy. I find that shorter length tanks look top heavy(to me) with a canopy sitting on the rim of the tank, so I did a "floating" canopy over a frag tank that I had running, before I moved.

That looks cool Doug... but for me a canopy would only be used to hide the lights and wires so a floating canopy would not solve those issues. I think I will likely be to lazy and leave it the way it is.

The only advice I have for the photography is "come over and take pictures of my stuff."
