![]() hmm i'm gonna have to try the filter sock thing.
that's a really good idea. could i just use nylon stockings or will that work? cause siphoning isn't really practical. my sump is pretty much at ground level. |

![]() No, you'll need an actual filter sock. They're reasonably cheap and washable. If your LFS doesn't have them, lots of our online sponsors carry them.

![]() put a power head in the sump. helps keep everthing floating around so the skimmer can get it.
