They changed the rules for importation from the U.S so it is now a bit easier to import cars from south of the border (no more bumper modifications needed). AFAIK the other rule for anything 15 years and older is the same.

I'm dying for a vintage Mini...
We have a VW Golf for our winter/all-around car and so far we are quite pleased. I'd love a classic car, particularly a Mini. I'm jealous of everyone's pretty little vehicles!

Catherine....I almost got permission to buy another mini.....I was so close...but then it sold. I was looking at this beautiful '79 mini one hour south of Calgary last Saturday. $3000. I would have bought it right there and then. I had a feeling my wife was going to let me for my birthday (May 4th), but the seller informed me that it has been sold today. It is a sad day!
