Nice looking birds. I thought I read somewhere that Figs were poisonous to birds. Don't quote me on it but you might want to research it and TEFLON pans when cooking around our feathered friends!

hmm, just did a bit of google search and there aeems to be info on both sides about the ficus when it comes to birds.. most seem to say it is ok but for a few species.

We try to be very careful about what plants we keep in the house with a cat and a toddler.

I had read about the teflon, We rarely use a teflon pan for cooking but know now to be sure to use it safely.

i should get some pictures of my birds ...lol its kinda funny i was going to try and make a post on who in canreef has birds and see who has what ...lol
