![]() I've had a little yellow clown goby for over a year now. He lives in a large millepora colony with an acro crab. He never ever leaves the protection of the coral and I've never seen him injest a single piece of food that I've fed into the tank. He probably picks stuff up that floats by or pods in the coral. I wouldn't be too worried if he's not eating everything you put on his plate.

![]() I did watch mine eat at the petstore which is why I bought him. Tried one before that did not make it. Mine also loved mysis shrimp and will try to eat ones that are just about as big as he is. I just do not think there is a lot of nutrition in frozen food and I feel that he might survive now that he is eating flakes. As soon as he sees me he is first fish to the top - almost climbs right into the pipette waiting for the food to come out.
Another thing I have heard is that these fish are often caught using cyanide. They may never get into shape because of the way some are caught.
