I don't think they were allowed to sell to me so pm me for the info sorry I used 1/2" as well. I also got 2, 4x24" pieces for cross braces

![]() Now that is one screaming deal!! good for you, my local shop wouldn't even sell scrap 1/4" for less than $8 per square.

![]() I find that with glass under 3/8" you won't notice any appreciable difference in clarity between regular float and Starphire/low iron. At 3/8" you'll start to see a difference and at 1/2" it is significant. So for a 180 gallon using 1/2" glass Starphire is a good investment if you are planning to keep the tank long term.
