Key Equine, judge for yourself - this is a good photo of a Pineapple Sponge. Is this what you have?

They look like tunicates to me. They have an incurrent and outcurrent syphon.
They are filter feeders and should not cause any problems in a tank. I've actually purchased larger species.

Based on the info from you guys and the photo of the pineapple sponges, I would say they are tunicates. They definitely have both incurrent and outcurrent syphons.
Thanks for the help with the ID! Glad I don't have to get rid of them because they are neat looking...
