![]() I look at posts when asking questions and assume that once the person is past 500 that they have written a bunch on here and should be giving decent advice. Above all though, I like to look at join date or in the signature as to how long they have been keeping SW tanks and what type.

Well, in all fairness, some of the best advice I've seen on here came from people with less than 50 posts. And lots of the old timers with thousands tend not to reply anymore, because they've answered that question 10 times already over the years. Ideally, get 20 answers, and take the average. Take me, I've been doing SPS and giving advice here for 8 years, I have almost 9000 posts and I couldn't tell you squat about running a softie tank. You really need to analyze everything you get here, then form your best guess answer yourself.
