We have had a few requests for information on some of the products here as as your questions arrise we will provide the info in the public forum here for everyone to benifit from

Overflow Comb:

Here is one for the do-it-yourselfers out there. A two-piece Overflow Comb that can be easily incorporated into your filter or aquarium overflow project. Water flows evenly over the comb but fish, plants, drain-clogging snails and large particulates are prevented from entering the overflow chamber. The holder can be glued to the exit wall and the Overflow Comb is pressed securely in. The comb is easy to remove for cleaning and maintenance. At over 12.8" long, the Aqua Medic Overflow Comb is certain to be an easy upgrade for your build project.
Overflow Comb: 12.8" (32 cm)

Reef Holder:

The Aqua Medic Reef Holder is a system for fixing decorative material to the aquarium glass. Rock formations can be hung easily off the side or back of the aquarium. When using live rock, a natural looking cave can be constructed. With the aid of a supplied template, holes can be drilled into the rocks. Plugs are pressed into the holes and attached with Reef Construct, our special epoxy adhesive for reef aquaria.

Do you have set shipping prices? I might be tempted by a dosing pump.

Our shipping prices are set according to what Canada Post is charging us. We dont make a penny on shipping. You can either email us and we will get a shipping quote for you OR you can punch in our postal code, your postal code, and an approx box size for a quote of your own.
Our postal code is K1Y 3E2

Please remember to put in the value of the product for insurance as we do not ship products uninsured.
The first $100 is free, and its $1 for every $100 thereafter.

If there is a group order taking place and several people are interested in lighting fixtures we can ship them out via truck. It takes a bit longer but saves you a bundle.

Our last skid of salt that we shipped out worked out to only a couple dollars per box of salt.

Cool!

I'll send an email this evening, I have a few questions on how the pumps would work for top offs and dosing zeo.

The pump should work for top offs as the aqua medic pump uses this pump. Have a look below.
And it will definately work for dosing zeo.

Aqua Medic Niveaumat Auto Top Off:
A common mistake in the aquarium hobby is to run the output from an R/O filter directly to a mechanical float switch on the aquarium filter to compensate for evaporation. An R/O filter produces its best water quality when run for an extended period of time. Therefore the ideal top-off system begins with a reservoir that is filled periodically by an extended run of the R/O filter. Water is then pumped, via a peristaltic dosing pump such as the Aqua Medic SP3000, from the R/O reservoir into the aquarium filter “on-demand” as water evaporates. Obviously this type of top-off system requires a reliable level sensing system within the aquarium filter and a switching controller to operate the top-off pump to maintain the water level. The Aqua Medic Niveaumat is an excellent integrated solution that combines the SP 3000 dosing pump with a directly connected low-voltage float switch. Everything you need in one economical package.

R/O filters produce their highest quality water when run for extended periods. Use your R/O to fill and refill a dedicated reservoir from which the Niveaumat can pull, for on demand automated top-off to compensate for evaporation.

Clean the included solenoid float switch regularly to ensure proper operation.
For marine aquaria, placing a Kalkwasser Stirrer between the Niveaumat pump outlet and the drip counter, which is delivering the top-off water, creates an excellent source of calcium and alkalinity buffering hydroxide ions.

Using the included one-way check valve (always on the suction side) ensures positive progress of the fluid through the top-off system while eliminating back-siphoning.
Replace the persitaltic tube periodically, depending on severity of duty, to maintain performance.
