Brooks is about 185 km from Calgary straight down Highway 1. The rock was bought through JL Aquatics Feb.24/2004. I believe it was sold as Kanai live rock. I am not sure if you are setting up a bare bottom tank or not but there is also 3 bags of Aragonite Special Reef Grade Sand in the tank that cost me about $230 back then. You can have it if you purchase all the rock.
