![]() sanjay joshi did a compartive analysis on these two bulbs and found them to be virtually identical...
same bulb? maybe not, same output? yah mon. I run a couple phoenix' myself. |

i didnt like mine at first... gave it 1 week and it went from super blue to crisp white with a hint of blue ![]() |

I say no. I run side by side tanks of the same depth. One has an AquaConnect and the other a Phoenix. The AquaConnect at least to my eye is much brighter and the phoenix looks to be a tiny bit bluer. Bulbs are about the same age. |

![]() I have both AC 250 & Phoenix 250 and like them both a lot. They are similar in specs but ACs are made in Germany & Phoenix are made in Japan. Phoenix are also at least 1/3 cheaper. I have old Aquaconnects over my reef but will replace with less expensive bulbs (including Phoenix) but still 14000ks.
