I get enough of this from my parents The retired out in Quallicum Beach a couple years back and they love to remind my of how the roses are blooming while I am still dealing with snow and ice

I was working with a company who had to move a control room from Burnaby to Edmonton a few years back. You should have heard the complaining. "My roses! My previous award winning roses!! I can't grow roses in Edmonton wahhhh!!!" And all the while I was thinking .. you know, Edmonton actually has a better growing season for gardeners than Calgary ... so quitcher'whinin'-cuz-it-could-be-worse-you-could-have-been-transferred-to-Calgary!!

I think it would be pretty hard though to be forced into a move to Alberta to keep your job. So I did kinda feel bad for the dudes.

I guess we .. um .. don't have a sales tax? But I'll take a PST for spring in February that's fershure.

Aye Aye. Give me blistering cold and sunshine over grey and wet. At least when it's cold I can put on some woolen socks and a sweater. When it gets grey here it is really depressing.
