I have also been a happy Shaw customer for many years. I use their internet and phone service and have had very few problems. The main reason for using Shaw?....it's not Telus!

We could be best friends. Have many lovely stories to share. I briefly tried out the Telus DSL and they couldn't even get a modem to me (they mailed it). I had to wait to get the one that was LOST to turn up before they'd help me out. Back to Shaw I went. Modem arrived WEEKS later. It's still in my closet!

I think we've already established that he can't go wrong with the Shaw phone service. Otherwise the beardedTree would indeed deserve a beatin'...not to mention me.

Sorry for going off topic. Just can't (Telus sucks) help (Shaw rocks) myself sometimes!

LOVE shaw! Best customer service by far. Unfortunately my cell is with Rogers...what a mistake that was. Its like night and day between the two when it comes to service. Rogers could care less and Shaw actually does seem to care or at least has trained their employees to be nice IMO there is only one provider with worse customer service than Rogers...and they like to color yellow tangs purple and blue.

Or the fact you don't require a contract with Shaw....

And they have 10mbit and 25mbit internetz!!!

(But telus is rolling out GPON soon... Gigabit Passive Optical Network)...

so here I got shaw for Internet and TV but want to switching the whole house over to Telus for their TV. Not big a having to pay for Shaw's digital boxes that Telus gives out.
