good point Mike, I wonder if or does it matter if the tank is big or small. lots of people say that a small reef tank is harder to keep up with then a larger one due to the water chem changing. that would be cool to see thou 2 reviews with the same corals but different tanks. 150 VS 20 might be cool to track... where Doug has the same corals as I do since I they are fragged from my tank.....

if you have watch my journea lthat i have been battling NO-2 and PHOSHATES now using the Fauna Marin they have pretty much gone away. and the phoshates are slowly going away , once i get the BIO from Mike at AQUA Digital then they will be HISTORY, A DEAD SEA SCROLL , A PAGE IN THE HISTORY BOOKS....

I did have a problem of getting my SPS to have some color and polyop extension now after using the fauna marin, the polyops are pretty much ripping out of the SPS and the clams are coloring up nicely too, the colors in the tank are looking alot better...

have to show you this green Acro the PE is crazy about 20 mins of feeding the tank...

check out hte color and the PE on this one

Whoa

thats series happy coral with awsome polyp extension, just wait until we get you on the power traces and those colours really pop!

The bio will be with you early next week and then say goodbye to phos and nitrate for good! BUT careful as you go with dosing that baby as I said!

A product is only as good as the results it gives Hard to disagree that Fauna Marin stuff works isnt it!

You can run phos if you want but run the decent stuff Ultra power phos, but then you cant run ultra Bio!

http://shop.faunamarin.de/product_in...PowerPhos.html

As i said above you just cant use this with bio or bak. Using both would remove the PO4 way too quickly and cause imbalances. (remember the golden sentance with fauna products "They do what they say they do" So dose exactly as instructed.

When it comes to PO4 you have two options

1. Ultra bio and Ultra Bak
2. ultra power Phos

best results are achieved with the bio's as it is adding good nutrients as well as removing bad. Better results are obtained this way

But i suggest trying the bio first, take the natural approach, then only if you do not wish to continue the bio you can switch back, but feel free to put the phos back on until it arrives.

There are so many different fauna products we have not even scratched the surface yet especially for removing phosphate at the same time as benefitting the system in other ways such as this product

Ultra Life!

http://shop.faunamarin.de/product_in...ltra-Life.html

Fauna marin has a product to suit ANY user, whether you want just plain old PO4 removal through granuler filtration or more complex but way more beneficial means as in this thread BIO and Bak, or mentioned above Ultra life mixed with Min-s you have a clam and coral food with a PO4 remover all in one.

Ultra Life is very popular and Ocean Aquatics sells a lot of this product..

if you want to learn more about Fauna's massive range please check out www.faunamarin.de there is something for everyone!
