![]() At one point I called around to a few places and most were willing to do it but wouldn't guarantee it if they broke it. I ended up drilling a couple holes myself, which turned out to be pretty easy.

![]() I purchased the cheap diamond hole bits off ebay from the guy from hongkong. He's really popular with the RC site DIY fanboys. Anyways I just bought one of those 65 cent toilet wax rings to hold water like a dam while I drilled in order to cool the bit. Started the bit on like a 45 degree angle and slowly worked to a 90 degree. Then I just let the weight of the drill work its way through the glass. I did 3 holes and almost pooped my pants with each one but in the end it really wasn't that hard and i'll have no problem drilling my next tank.
Oh yeh, I actually have pictures somewhere that I could resize and post for you if you really need them. Will check this thread tomorrow, off to bed I go! |
