it should be fine, its designed to cure in the tank. if you're worried about it, just swish it in some other water after you've mixed it up then mount your frag with it in the tank.

That's what I ended up doing
 Thanks!!as a side note....wow do I ever suck at sculpting that stuff! It's not pretty, but they are attached! Now I wait for the corraline to cover my secret shame!!
