Some carpets get over 3 feet wide, if size is an issue I'd look at something else I have two BTA's that aren't huge yet but I'd imagine they will grow. Are you looking for something to host your clowns?

BTA = Bubble Tip Anemone.

I have a large one in my 90, bought him small maybe 2" across, but he now expands to well over a foot during the day.

It depends, For the most part it does not have bubbles and only retains a few on some of the tips.

Somedays it is full of bubble tips but that is usually after a good feeding or a large water change.

I found when it was much smaller it had bubbles all the time but as it grew it is hard to keep them.

QT that thing. They can repair themselves, but only under ideal conditions. My sebae did that once with a powerhead, but fixed himself up in QT.. took about two weeks and I put him back in the DT after about 2 months. GL, sounds like a goner though.
