Hope he hangs on and pulls through for you. Beautiful fish. I think we underestimate the effect of stress and lactic acid build up in fish. Im an angler and it has been long known that a certain percentage of released fish will die due to not being able to recover from the latic acid build up caused from the stress of being caught. Every time we put a net to a fish it causes a stress probably equal to that of a fish caught on a line.

Well I wasn't wanting to look into my tank this morning, but I did, and unfortunately he passed away sometime last night It really sucks loosing such a beautiful and unique fish RIP my lovely velvet angel

he's in the big aquarium in the sky with my eel Rasputin(i named him that because he survived everything, well, almost everything).

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and for understanding, and yes I'd like to think that Rasputin and him are in the big aquarium in the sky together keeping eachother company.
