Default feeding schedules

my feeding method harkens back to my freshwater days. i alternate between adequate and light feeding and sometimes skipping feeding altogether. i find that if my fish get varied feedings they show much more interest in hunting down food bits and are generally more willing to nibble away at algae films covering everying in tank. all my fish purple and blue tangs, flame angels, bicolor blennies even clown fish do this and they are healthy as can be.
