Sorry to hear about the angel... sounds like it needs to be rehomed for sure...

I am tying a "bi-color only" fly that I hope to hook the little bugger with, but I dont have any material that closely matches the color of the blasto. Only thing is I cant get decent "backcast" in, in my living room. Also he is a crafty little guy and I will need to remain hidden while I approach the tank.

On a slightly related note....someone should design a miniature spear gun. Not to get my angel with, but to spear other unwanted hitchhikers. I got another glimpse of the black crab that I have in the tank and this thing is getting huge. Larger than a toonie, with the leg spread. If I had a little spear gun Im sure I could get it out, as the crab seems to be getting bolder the bigger it gets.

you could attach a pin to a weighted down nerf gun

or glue a pin to like a lil rubber thing and put it in a painball gun with 500 PSI

500psi out of a paintball gun into a tank would blow more than the crab away...

Thanks Kelly. I do have a bit of an unfair advantage when it comes to livestock that comes through the shop.

I know I said that I was "swearing off" tangs, but Paully (Red Corals internet guy) recently moved and decided that his yellow tang no longer fit his tank plans. Sooooooooo, I being the glutton for punishment that I am decided to adopt it and give it a new home. When Paully told me about he said that it was big, but after I brought it home, I realized how big it is. Its about the same length as my regal, but with the body shape being so tall he is the new king of the tank. My regal seems to be pouting a bit, not at the front of the tank all day begging for food like usual. The yellow is eating now(didnt for the first couple days) and isnt showing any signs of ich, which has been a constant thorn in my side since I started into saltwater two years ago. I have my fingers crossed and hopefully the tang gods smile upon me.

Heres a couple random recent pics from the tank.
