![]() is there a difference between the 1262 pump and 1260 pump. thanks for the link and that looks identical buts its for the 1262 pump. anyone know if it is interchangeable

![]() I believe that the only difference between the STOCK 1260 and 1262 is the intake volute - the rest of the STOCK pump is exactly the same. However, even though an impeller made for the same pump should fit, different skimmer companies modify pumps in different ways. For example, the Sedra 9000 on my skimmer has a custom volute and the outflow is hand ported. Hagen Laguna pond pumps and BK Red Dragons are both derived from the same pump (an Askoll), but they are very different after their respective modifications. So there's no guarantee an ER Eheim needlewheel will work with an H&S Eheim.

![]() hmmm. something else to think of. i find it really bloody frustrating that i spend all this money on something and it is a major PITA to get it fixed. you think these people that make millions off us would have good costumer service to keep us coming back
