ok so i have tried J&L , aquatic addictions, and some store in calgary. i have also tried to size up other needle wheel impellers to work with no bloody luck. can ANYONE tell me where the heck to go to get another impeller. seems like no one is carrying the H&S line either anymore to get an impeller from them. i have tried to contact H&S and Eheim for advice with no response. nice customer service, hey!

A Google search indicates that up until 2006 at least, Weddel Ltd. were Canadian distributors of H&S:

However, their website doesn't say much:

There are a number of US distributors of H&S:

You can get the Euro-reef impeller for the 1260 for $100 bucks less than Deltec charges.

I believe that the only difference between the STOCK 1260 and 1262 is the intake volute - the rest of the STOCK pump is exactly the same. However, even though an impeller made for the same pump should fit, different skimmer companies modify pumps in different ways. For example, the Sedra 9000 on my skimmer has a custom volute and the outflow is hand ported. Hagen Laguna pond pumps and BK Red Dragons are both derived from the same pump (an Askoll), but they are very different after their respective modifications. So there's no guarantee an ER Eheim needlewheel will work with an H&S Eheim.
