![]() Welcome to Canreef Patrice!
Haven't been to Yellowknife in about 20 years but I do remember how I felt it was one of the friendliest places I've ever been to..until about 11:00 pm (then the rowdies come out) ![]() Do they still have the signs downtown "NO MOTORIZED TOBOGGAN PARKING"? I still chuckle about those ![]() Francis "Alberta-newb" |

![]() HI!!!!
ANOTHER YKer!! I grew up in Yellowknife, moved away when I was 16 ('97) and was back from '99 to '01... I actually used to work at JJ Hobbies, is it still the only LFS up there?? We didn't carry any SW then but were able to order stuff in if you would pick it up the day it came in - no holding facilities!! I don't miss the winters but I do miss the people! It's a great community, how long have you been there for? |

![]() Hi!

![]() I think YK is a big enough city that if they were to bring in the supplies and make it available to more people that it would go over well. Did you bring the stock you currently have from down south?

![]() I orther most from Aquarium Illusion in Edmonton. I would preffer to orther from an online store where I can see the stock and prizes but for now it's fine.
The only problem is the cost of shipping with canadian north. It's insane. |
