Some people do but I think they are forced to get a long in a smaller tank and may cause undue stress. the problem with a standard 90 is it is only 18" wide, my 94 was 36 x 25 x 24 so there is really a lot more maneuvering room with that extra 6" of width. for a standard 90 I would stick to 1 tang.
