mine have never bit me. even when they knock over their torch and i have to get it upright again. guess im lucky.

. Great pic. My male, sent out by the female will bite my hand. Its not bad though. A friends male perc is nasty and has taken a hunk out of both myself and him.

My former Cinnamon,s would go for the skin between my fingers and hold on.

Sheez, nemo,s my #@&%. They can be nasty fish if they want.

Glad I'm not the only one with a "clowndevil" fish . And they look so cute and cuddly just swimming there. Until I put my hand in the tank. In my case they are defending a Zenia that they are hosting. I finally had to buy the full length gloves so I could work in the tank.

My little black occ is also a vicious little sob, but I love him. He bit me 3 times last night while mounting corals and only stopped when I put a fish net in the tank while I was working. Once the fish net goes in, he hides in the corner, lol.
