^ Thanks for the advice. I will take a look into that. Although I would like to find a reliable option for giving the fish a bath before putting them into my tank as I don't quarantine.

Good call. I tend to not think about freshwater dipping because they always look so stressed when I do it, and it's such a pain in the butt to match pH. works great for external parasites though, including Ich. I wonder if there are any short term (less than an hour) baths that are effective against internal parasites? I really have been noticing a lot of parasites on fish in the last few years. I think really it's just that I'm more aware... lol
