What size tank and sump are you setting up?

My Poseidon kicks butt. I'd recommend those to anyone. I'm a fan of the inline pumps, not so much the drop ins.

I have a Poseidon they're quite - but they add some heat to the system about 1C.

+1 for the Eheim 1250. I would get the 1260 next time and dial it back, but very quiet pumps.

It's a standard 29 gallon with a custom sump that holds about 14 gallons
