S.D.

Half of the eggs are left, mom and dad are very attentive of them, cleaning and fanning and poring over but not aggressive at all, I put my hand in beside with no problems so the eggs will likely be all gone soon, still neat to see.

I still suck with the camera but I still haven't read the booklet either lol

I'm glad your system is finally up and running!! I look forward to pics and seeing it in person sometime!!

They look like very attentive parents....I'm sure now that they've got the hang of "it" LOL you'll see more and more batches.

Well, for not reading the book yet you're doing awesome...what a natural!!!!

Absolutely, I'm looking forward to you coming over for a visit...it'll be great...I have some goodies for your new tank!!!!

Today: (Day 6)
The # went down to 31 after the first night and these are them...little boobly eyeballs 'n all!!

....anyone know where to get rotifers in the future? It kinda breaks my heart a little to know they'll get eaten, even if I take them out I don't have anything to feed them.

Question

So the eggs dissapeared on night 7 (hatched and eaten I'm assuming) and now, a couple of days later there are MORE than ever! Is this going to keep happening over and over? Is it ok for the fish?

I don't know if it is ok for the fish or not but mine lay eggs pretty much every 10 days although a couple of times they had a second batch going on day 5
