Don't forget about how fast your tank's overflow drain is. I have a quietone 6000 on my tank but had to "T" it off to reduce flow cause my drain bulkhead would never keep up otherwise. Great pump choice IMO, not that I have lots of experience with other pumps but the quietone has been working great on my tank for the last year and a half.

Default pump

HI How have you piped it? I piped 1" then 1"x3/4"x3/4" tee 3/4" to tank and 3/4" to front of sump it goes through the sump and calerpa doesn't restrict the pump.75% of flow into tank keeps up with return .
