dsaundry: What kind of anemone (?) is the purple one behind the flounder? Neat!

I have no idea what it is but it is spectacular, I saw it at Animal House in Chilliwack..it had been there about 4-6 weeks and was sort of shriveled up. I picked it up and put it in my aggressive tank and it looks great. Here is another picture of it..yes that is a Golden Dwarf Moray making one of his rare appearances in the background

If someone can tell me what it is I would really appreciate that.
It's normal color is pure white.

I think this is an Alveopora sp. Alveopora sp. have 12 small tentacles while Goniopora sp. have 24. I'm sure someone can straighten this out for sure.

Cool, it'd be interesting to see how many handicapped ones a coral may have??

Alveopora with some 10s, 11s or 13s or Goniopora with some 23s or 25s... I mean it's gotta happen??
