Mike, the reason is J&L shipped me the wrong bulbs. I ordered 250s, but got 400s. I didn't even realize it until I went to fire them up, and then couldn't get replacements fast enough. I ended up having to buy new 400w ballasts instead.
I tried to go 250, really, I did!!

bah, you missed me. I never made it over as you probably know.. framming in the patio and taking kids all over the place.

you have monday off? or maybe you should stop by... you can help me with framing its kinda like building your shed, but different.
