with the luck i have had with this tank sofar, i think they would crawl inside and die. but worth a try if i cant find a small piece of dowel. only needs to be 8 ". thats long not diameter.

finally found pompoms on JL and i will be changing to this price. it is on the NEW and Noteworthy page and is half of the LA price.
