Our beloved pumpkin sits on the kitchen table, he is solemnly sitting there, wishing the
same wish as all our previous pumpkins in years gone by. Oh If only I could be a carved
masterpiece. He is however in good company as this well meaning jesture of kindness
has saved yet another from being brutally cut up, guts ripped out and if that wasn't
bad enough,stuck with a burning hot candle inside. Bless all the poor helpless pumpkins
out there.

My 7 year old insisted he wanted to do it "by..my...self!"
The whole flying knife issue was a little scary, but we didn't have to visit the emergency this year...so it was a success!

If you are wondering...it is Darth Vader holding a lightsaber.. in case you could not figure out the obvious..

My 7 year old wouldn't let anyone else help either. It takes some imagination to figure it out, but he was so pleased with himself after finishing and that is what really matters in the end.
