Hey Craig,
I'am not sure but I use Phytoplankton and the other good stuff like mysis,
brine on occasion and mine seem healthy. But it is a good question.
hope to hear some other answers to.

When I first go my Brain was feeding mysis about once a week but stopped something well over a year ago.

Has been looking good but notice some slight fading a few weeks ago but this was after the time I cracked my Ca reactor and my alk dropped and then started dosing with Baking Soda. Fed a few time since with Mysis again and colour is coming back but then I also have a reactor back on-line and the alk is stable again. Not positive though if the Brain was ****ed after not being fed for more than a year or the fading relates to the alk as also had a little patch of GSP fading as well.

I came home to that one night, too funny! I had to pop the bubble to extract it from the coral
