I'm not sure what the OP meant by 2x3/4" or what (is that how wide it is??)... but if anyone is interested in a VERY DIY 12 foot tank, THIS guy is doing an amazing job with his.

BTW... shouldn't this be in the Calgary section?

That means that they laminated two 3/4 inch pieces together for the bottom piece.
