![]() Man I sound like an idiot about these things sometimes. Let me just tell you that I sound way more intelligent when discussing the biological aspect of our tanks ![]() Thanks guys! ![]()

![]() they still look really cool and are pretty neat considering the mag drive technology but once the novelty wears off it's really not great value compared to some of the competition.
I don't think anyone who does research for their tanks on this sight would ever make the mistake of thinking you were in any way an idiot btw ![]() |

![]() My dad got 4 of them for his tank in Singapore. I have not seen them yet but will next month and I can't wait. He says they are AMAZING.
He got the MP40's though. And had to switch them to 220V because he bought them from the US for some reason. Last edited by GreenSpottedPuffer; 10-03-2008 at 07:09 PM. |

![]() Think this has been answered above but yeah. The pump itself still has a power cord. The controller that tells the motor to spin fast or spin slow is the wireless component, so you don't have to worry about where to place the *controller*.

![]() If I'm reading this right, it would seem that the wireless component is only used when there is more than one pump installed so that they talk to each other to setup different flow patterns. Is this correct or am I misunderstanding?

![]() no, i believe that it can control the single pump wirelessly as well and if you have more than one pump/controller combo it can communicate with it wirelessly as well.

![]() dangers of wireless
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...wireless&meta= Now add 2.4Gz and higher friquency phones, 2.4 is being the worse because it closely matches water and what are we made of (mostly liquid !) there are no stadies on 5.8 and higher friquencies yet. DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) is even worse because its like having your own cell phone tower inside your home that is ALWAYS "ON" WiFi internet, cell phone towers and now aquarium pumps? thank you, not in my house.. . |
