I use plastic water bottles, the type on water coolers in an office they work great and have a good handle to hold onto.

Haha...I think that this thread got a little confusing because I didn't explain myself very well. I was just starting up my nano, it was empty and I wanted to make sure that I could mix my very first batch of salt inside the nano rather than pre-mixing in vats and then adding it.

Thanks so much to everyone who responded because it put me at ease enough to do it and now there is 16g of nicely mixed SW in my new tank. The tank will have a full ATO system and I normally mix SW in a large bucket for water changes in my 70G so I will do the same in my Nano.

JDigital, thanks for the idea on the milk jugs...two should be around the right size for a water change for this tank.
