Vortech MP40W ES Firmware Upgrade to 1.6

Just got a buddy an hr.away to flash mine today,was so easy,just followed there directions from the website, it's true...3 minutes it was done.Denfinatly a nice upgrade,.....

If anyone in the lower mainland needs to do this J&L has one with the 1.6 firmware on their tank in the back and I just flashed mine from it yesterday.

Thanks for the info, now if someone in the Okanagan had the updated firmware, that would be fantastic. Was hoping I didn't need to travel that far or mail the driver back & forth.

Anyone in the interior yet with 1.6 firmware on their VorTech ES driver? Just checked the instructions and it doesn't matter whether it's a 10W ES, 40W ES or 60W ES, any EcoSmart driver can upgrade firmware of another one regardless of model number. Thanks in advance.

I have a Vortech 40W ES that's still in the box but I'm not sure what firmware it has. I bought it about 10 months ago. Not sure if I can help but let me know. I couldn't find anything about ES models needing new firmware on the ecotech site.
