Sorry, my mistake, it is actually a 110 to 220 Volt converter. This is the actual converter I purchased.

Ah, that sounds better! I would have been surprised that you could get the pump running at all the other way. Cool looking piece of equipment, I like the fact that it can do either conversion.

You might want to just double check that the shorting wire on the back panel is set to the correct input voltage.

The one the OP posted is a 220V version.

The US 110V version comes with American 3-pin plugs, a different needlewheel and doesn't have restarting issues.
