![]() The skimmer will clear up your water to some extent (and likely better than the coralife if you go with a different brand). However running carbon as well will help with clearer water

![]() I wonder if the yellow water is just a result of the bulbs you're using. Some give off a pretty yellow tint.
I have a Deltec MCE600 and it works like a champ. Granted, it's probably too much skimmer for my system, but....I'm a believer in "more is more" when it comes to skimming. But you could easily get away with the MCE300. |

![]() As long as you're not overstocked, I doubt a couple of weeks would hurt. Maybe just cut back on feeding a bit.

![]() My Deltec works just fine..Bac Paks are supposed to be good too...and yes carbon in your filters would work well for water clarity...
