![]() There are a few of us who use glass beads as a part of the substrate. Glass beads are quite light, and seem to work better if mixed with the Aragonite. It will keep your cost down as it is only $20.00 for 20 KG. Being glass it is inert. I have found that critters like Cerith snails really like it. they really work the substrate when the beads are used.
