![]() The tend to do better under 6500k-10,000K but I was told they would still grow. I run a 14,000 K bulb as well. Don't know about the flow but I would think as long as they don't rip around the tank that they should be fine as well.
I have not seen a lot of variety around though. Most of the time you would have some starter culture on the rock to start with. I am on the hunt for some as well for my refugium. Maybe we can trade some different kinds later.

![]() As far as what I would think Halimeda, Rhodophyte, Ochtodes, Acetabularia, and Padina. would be some good choices.
Not sure where you would find them though.

![]() I would be cautious, macro algae can spread rapidly and could root itself in the rock withing an SPS colony which sucks to deal with. I don't think it's a good idea for an SPS tank.

![]() There's got to be something that will sit there all pretty in the flow but wont grow out of control?
