Thank you. Do you do the dip straight out of the bag from the store and then straight into your tank? Do you acclimate the corals in any way.

I fill the jar with 80% store water and about 20% of my tank water. I don't acclimate them before dipping them. After they've been dipped I rinse them around in fresh tank water. I then hold them out of the water for about 10 seconds to allow them to slime up before putting them into the tank.

However if I'm dosing them with Interceptor, I acclimate them to my QT tank water first (which has Interceptor mixed in), then after my Interceptor treatment is done, I dip them in TMPCC like I mentioned.

Looking good and great tips for dipping. I cant wait to see those newbies rubbin shoulders with their cousins. Please be sure to post some pics when the time comes. Was great chatting with you two today.
