$60 is my comfort range, but I'll go up around $150 if it's something I really want. At my age, I can't justify pouring too much money into the tank when I should be saving up for a mortgage down payment or something like that!!

I'd like to say somewhere around 250 for some exotic corals, I'd probably max out at 100 for a fish

No livestock in any of my tanks cost me more than $100. I'd be willing to pay closer to $200 for something outstanding.

I think there is only two expensive things in my tank, a metallic foxface and a blue xenia, everything else should be under 100.

A decade ago, I spent some $200 at local stores on clams without bysalls etc...latest $200 run was for a fish that lasted a week. I think $100 now.

1 coral - $100 (Solomon Island colony)
1 fish - $125 (Goldflake angel in Hawaii - what a steal)

i never spent more than 80 on coral and 60 on fish to this point. yes i know 60 is expensive for caught true perks but i couldnt resist. as one is retarded and is a nemo as he only has one pelvic fin. wel there are two but they are connected.

not saying i havent blown 300 on ls in one stop but this is a question on 1 item is it not?

Most I've spent on a coral is $120 most I would spend on a coral I thought was a diamond $300. Most I've spent on fish is $250, my queen angel god bless it passed after 5 months probally the most I would spend on a fish now no more than $150.

It sounds like the more you pay for a fish the quicker it dies. I would be willing to pay $200 for a fish/coral. However, I have always found what I wanted for less than $125.

Up till now, the most I have spent:

Torch Coral: $60
Fish: Singapore Angel: $70.

The most I would spend:
Coral: $100
Fish: $175-200

The real kicker, is that I have spent more money on damn LR than anything else...
