![]() $30 a day to rent a fish, sorry about your luck EmilyB. I won't pay more than about $50 for a fish, my bank account cry's when they die. As for corals I like to buy frags or small colonies, they'll grow. It's less expensive to be patient and let them grow than to buy them in larger sizes.

![]() $60 is my comfort range, but I'll go up around $150 if it's something I really want. At my age, I can't justify pouring too much money into the tank when I should be saving up for a mortgage down payment or something like that!!

![]() No livestock in any of my tanks cost me more than $100. I'd be willing to pay closer to $200 for something outstanding.

![]() I think there is only two expensive things in my tank, a metallic foxface and a blue xenia, everything else should be under 100.

![]() A decade ago, I spent some $200 at local stores on clams without bysalls etc...latest $200 run was for a fish that lasted a week. I think $100 now.

![]() It sounds like the more you pay for a fish the quicker it dies. I would be willing to pay $200 for a fish/coral. However, I have always found what I wanted for less than $125.
